The traditional manga instantly pulls you in and is quite a welcoming sight for those familiar with it. The artwork is very nice and accurately depicts the actions of the story and the concept of a genuine kappa being the star is quite original for it is a creature not always explored in various media. Despite Japanese mythology always put it into the light of a prankster or a monster, it is a welcome change to see it as a lonely yet annoyed being wanting acceptance from others. This manga was true potential and could possibly become something more in the future.
